Dr. Hayashi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, specializing in Periodontal Disease Treatment and Dental Implant Surgery.
Research has shown the correlation between periodontal disease and many life threatening diseases including cardiovascular disease. Periodontal health is important for overall health. Our mission is to preserve and enhance our patients' oral health, which positively impacts an individual's whole body health and wellness.
Educational Background
Dr. Chie Hayashi is a highly trained specialist in dental implants and periodontics. She received training in the United States and Japan.
Dr. Hayashi attended Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). She then pursued her interest in periodontal scientific research focusing on regenerative periodontal therapy and peri-implant tissue. She received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Dental Science, with a Major in Periodontology at Tokyo Medical and Dental University.
Dr. Hayashi then moved to Boston, MA and continued her clinical research on regenerative materials in the use of corticotomy-assisted orthodontic treatment at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She also dedicated herself to researching the association between periodontal disease and atherosclerosis at Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Hayashi then completed a periodontal residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and received a Master of Medical Science in Oral Biology (M.M.Sc) and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Hayashi is published in leading medical and dental journals and presents her work at national and international conferences. She has also been appointed as a part-time educator in various universities.
